My Tour experience in North Carolina

Exhilaration and adventure is what people look for and anticipate from outdoor adventures these days. People keep on getting propelled to step out of their comfort zones and discover new experiences.

Snowboarding is popular in the USA from the 60’s when people started experimenting with this hobby. It was not until the late 70’s when Burton and other inspired the surfers to start making better designs and attaching foot bindings, that snowboarding became extensively popular.

Grandfather Mountain
After some sessions of snowboarding, along with a travel guide to Brevard, I had the adventure that I was craving for. We have an incredible experience out there. Rafting has evolved a lot since then as people started navigating through the Snake River.

Till this day, I am a fan of Asheville whitewater rafting. I also participated in white water kayaking classes and participated in inflatable kayak trips. With white water, there is an uncontrollable aspect to deal with, which is rain. A river will never run out of water, and during North Carolina’s last big drought, I looked for other types of adventure employment. It appeared quite logical to step out of the water and indulge in some activity on the land.

As a sport, climbing the Grandfather Mountain developed from mountaineering and has gained popularity since John Muir first climbed the Cathedral peak in 1869. In North Carolina, we have some east coasts routes and best climbing locations. Though rock climbing is not the most popular outdoor activity, it still offers great value and still considered to be the most popular outdoor activity.
